Ladies, what's the best style for a guy with long hair?

I have brown hair, almost reddish looking. I'm not a ginger red-head by a long shot, more of a strawberry blond, but it's not dark in the sun. My face is narrow with softer features than I'd like, but not girly, and my hair is wavy. Lots of people love the waves, I've been complimented several times.

It's long, quite long, ponytail long for sure. It grows slowly and I haven't cut it in years. Trimmed yes, but not cut per se. I've been getting comments recently that it really doesn't work, but I really want to make it work.

I know a lot of girls hate long hair on a guy. Please don't reply. Those that actually do like it, and I mean long, not emo style around the face but long, how can I make it work? Guys who make it work and turn you on, what do they do with it?

You could try to only pull the top half of it back and leave the bottom hanging loose. If it's wavy, it will still look neat and partly free, too. That's what my boyfriend does with his wavy hair. It doesn't detract from the fact that he's all man.

You might also consider braiding it; just a regular braid, not a french braid. Don't listen to those other fools who tell you to cut it - be yourself and be glad that you have great hair.. at least you have hair!

Note new suggestion: My BF says pull the sides back into a pony tail, leaving the back loose. It allows the hair to look long but out of the face.

I love long hair on a guy. It's really sexy. If you are Caucasian, then you are pretty much limited....other than wearing it down or in a ponytail, which is cool to me. If you are black...well then you have dreads, twists, ponytail, wearing it down, braids, etc.

I love long hair on guys!!! The best way i would say is try to find some pics of hair you like , and try those looks. I can't think of anything in particuler. Maybe talk to a hair dresser, they are usually pretty creative.

I absolutely love long hair on a guy either just in the back or in a ponytail. Clean and Trimmed please. I don't like it greasy, unkept, or nasty looking. If it is kept up I think it looks wonderful.
