Is short hair better than long hair?

i have long hair , like under my shoulder blade by alot , but i want to cut it up to my shoulder and every one is telling me not to . i think long hair is better , what about you?????

Depends..I had both. I had super short hair, almost like what Sienna Miller has now. Then I grew it out really long, down to my back. People said that I could pull off both, but as a girl I felt prettier with long hair. I think short hair is daring and confident, but long hair is soft and romantic. Just a warning, if you cut it short it took me a whole year to grow it long...so be prepared for lots of waiting if you want to grow it out again!! And if you want to keep it short you have to maintain it...growing it long is a pain though. It has a really ugly period because it's short hair growing out...so I always pulled it back. I would recommend to keep it long.
