Do long layers work with long hair?

My hair is a little over half way down my back and I'm getting it cut tomorrow and i was wondering if getting it layered with long layers would work out with straightening it and if there are a variety of styles to do with it that way. Does it stay straight with layers in it?

my hair is longer than yours- it reaches almost to my belt. I have chunky layers cut into it, the shortest starting a little bit below my shoulders, and then one more mid back. i don't have any problem straightening it, i never have and I've had various lengths of long hair and layers for years now.

yeah! they r not as noticable (u can still seem them though!) but ya they work!! =]

it totally works. Just get about 4 longlayers for your hair. It would look GORGEOUS!!
