If you have long hair and go to a baraber and ask them to cut 'Less then a half a centimeter' is your hair going to be buzzed or a little shorter???

It depends on the stylist. I have has some that take off what they think they should even if you tell them what you want.

Others that did what I ask

Show them with your fingers how much you want.

I guess it depends on who's cutting it so they can interpret it their own way. I guess you would just need to be more specific to avoid this problem.
