Ridding of Greasy Hair?

Im a male and I have sort of long hair almost in front of eyes now, but it seems that m hair gets greasy rather quick and I was wondering if theres a hair solution or home remedy for this?

I shower daily if not twice a day but it seems not even 8 hours later my hair looks and feels greasy. Obviously I like my hair long so cutting it isnt an option just hoping theres other solutions.

The reason why your hair is getting greasy so fast is because you're over washing your hair and basically making it produce its own oils faster than usual. You're suppose to wash your hair at least every other day if not every other two days, if its really long (mainly for girls). So I would suggest not using conditioner every other day until your hair gets back on the right track of producing the right amount of oils and start washing your hair every other day. This doesn't mean you don't take showers just wet your hair and don't shampoo and condition it. Hope this helps!! =)

There's not much you can do. Adding some talcum powder to the roots of your bangs, and rubbing it in, could help soak up some grease. Spray your bangs lightly with an aerosol hairspray and see if that helps.

Have you tried a different brand of shampoo and conditioner? It may be caused by the brand you use. You could also try some treatments in your hair.

Don't use conditioner when you wash it....;)

I will assume that you are washing your hair in the shower, daily.

You don't really say so.

But I guess you need a better shampoo, for oily hair.

Also you could try using astringent like Sea Breeze (with a cotton ball) around your hair line and part to eliminate some of the oil.

Good luck.

Go to the pharmacy %26amp; ask for 'Soap Spirit' it's green colored with a basic smell %26amp; cheap.

Dilute some 1-1 with warm water in a cup. After wetting your hair in shower, pour the solution over scalp and massage GENTLY ...I think you might be overdoing the scrubbing, this stimulates the sebacious glands which produces more sebum (oil)

Rinse well, your hair will be squeaky clean - it works!

If you really want to, you can follow up with something like a Clarifying shampoo if you miss a fresh smell, but the soap spirit will remove the build-up of sebum.

oooh easy, part your hair in the middle of you forehead working your way back to the crown of you head, apply mousse down the part line and rub it in with your fingertips, continue to part you hair in lines either side, putting mousse down each. When it dries, brush it out, you hair will look clean for around 5 times longer. I have long thick blonde wavy/curly hair, this works really well for me, it also gives you added volume if you blow dry your hair upside down. I can leave my hair for about 6 days if I want to (although I never do, I'm a clean freak so after three days it starts to get on my nerves) and it still looks clean. Hope this works as well for you as it does for me. Essentially you are just putting mousse all over your scalp.

Go to a Beauty store, or a Salon and get a Treatment or just get a Clairfying Shampoo(You can probley get them from a Salon), which helps with the Greasyness, Sometimes you just gotta strip your hair. Sometimes if you use conditioner, it makes it feel and look greasy, so if your using conditioner, try to wash it out really good.
