im tired of keeping my hair long and i wanna get cut short or like shave it or something but i like looking emo will it still look like im emo or what

im a guy (14 years old, 15 in Oct 16) i used to have long hair ALL the time. i got it cut to like half a 3/4 of a inch on top and blended in on the sides, i also looked at the books inside the hair cuttery store and just picked what i wanted, that helps. but i dont look emo at all. it looks pretty cool and once it grows out just a little bit its only going to be better.

lets say u get it cut to like 3-4 inches and comb it side ways and have one of ur eyes covered (exactly how i used to have it but a bit longer) then yeh its gonna look emo. but the emo hair styles look awsome too .

How long are we talking here? Because Emos don't have 'long' hair. They might have some sort of neo-Flock of Seagulls meets Good Charlotte thing going on, where the hair )if not gel-ed up( might be shoulder length, but not 'long.'

Shorter you go, the more Emo you'll look, until you shave it, then you just look..well..shaved.

Just throw a tad of gel in it, wave it to one side, but with a bit of spike. That says "I'm depressed, but I like to rock out, just a little!"

Lol.. it's not big deal, Emo isn't in your hair, it's in you...if you wish it to be.

They don't have shaved hair. They generally have it long in front and shorter and spiky in back, but maybe a couple of inches in back is about as short as you can go. Check the link below. It has tons of hairstyles.
