I had my hair cut in to a bob style after having long hair (i always wore it up though) but i dont feel so sexy as i did, do you think its cause its a new do and im not used to it as yet??

I am sure your hair looks great but it always takes time to get use to seeing a new cut or new hair color. The last time I got mine cut I felt like I looked like a boy but everyone else loved it and after a few days I also loved the new haircut.

i am used to long hair on myself and i'd feel very unattractive with a bob , id never get it done cuz my face is kinda round ..

It's coz ur not used to it. I did the same about six months ago and I felt the same. Once your used to it and you've found new ways to style it and you've been out a few times you'll love it. Short hair all the way!!

always takes a little while to get used to a hair cut when i went from long to shaved i didn't sleep for a week as it felt weird

How the hell are we supposed to know that without seeing a picture of you? Your hair frames your face and a different cut can have a dramatic affect on the way your face looks. I will not commit.

probably...sometimes when you make a major change, it takes a while to get used to it.....remember, it's only hair...it grows back...i wouldn't be too concerned with it...it you were sexy beforehand, then chances are that you still are sexy....if you were ugly beforehand, cutting your hair isn't going to change that either....so just give it some time..i'm sure it will all work out just fine in the end.

Women with short hair are not ANY where as sexy as women with long hair.. There has NEVER been a playboy centerfold with short hair.

in the meantime find some lovely pampering shampoo, wash your new bob %26amp; towel dry your hair to add some volume.

give it time,i'm sure it will grow on u and u will like it more each day. bobs are cool..is it a plain bob or is it graduated for height and volume(coz that's cool and gives it more of an dge). I felt the same,my hair was all the way down my back and i went for the chop,felt bald for a wee while but have had it cropped short since then!!! i'm sure u look fab!! xx

I did the same thing a few years ago, and felt the same way about it. The best thing to do is to get some cool hair products and just have fun with it!

i did exactly the same thing,only went even shorter than a bob!Im sure it looks nice,BUT i totally understand how you feel,i hated my new hair,i felt butch and un sexy and ended up putting scarves and stuff in it to girlyfy it.Poor you,i totally sympthise with you.You can buy human hair extentios and glue or clip them in very easyly yourself.I ended up doing that as soon as it grew past my ears so i could hide the join.I live in uk and you can buy them off ebay or at most markets,they look amazing and are sooo cheap.If you get real hair ones,you can even dye them to match your hair colour,i honestly use them all the time now. i recommend using them on a clip so you wont ruin them by washing them everytime you wash your own hair,try it im sure it will make you feel better x x

i think bobs are cute! but some hairstyles just look better on certin people. you will learn to like it. i have not cut my hair more than half an inch in a long time so i would feel be strange too.

Just did the same thing myself. I love it, I feel sexy! check out rihanna long bob, its choppy and wild.

Here's a few tips

Don't wear it flat down to your head

Flip the very front ends

color it

piece it out with some gel

If you are worried, get some layers cut into it to add movement. You can then texturize it to make it a little piecey.

If you tied it up all the time, you will have to get used to it being down all the time, getting used to a new hairstyle always takes a while, I'd just play around with it, try creating a fringe and make a quiff at the front that's still chic at the moment, in fact try to find some photos of Kylie Minogue, she has a bob and her hair looks great all the time, with grips and slides etc.

Have to say though, you're more daring than me, I have long hair but haven't got the courage to get it chopped off ;D
