Hair cut -- Asking on more time (New links!)?

I'm turning 16, I really want my hair to look different than it always has. I have medium-brown long hair, it's probably between 7 inches past my shoulders (I take really good care of it.) I really want to keep the length pretty long, but need something new.

I was thinking of getting some kind of bangs, but I don't know what style would look good, and still be versitile, I was thinking maybe something like hilary duff's, who can leave them down in front, split them, make them side bangs. Any other ideas? On cut or color?

I think number 3 would be gorgeous! I think you should try that. Blonde is very hard to keep up with because of the roots and going that light really damages your hair. Number 3 still looks sunkissed but it has a more sophisticated and stylish look, both the style and color. I love it! I actually might get my hair done that way too!. My next choice would be 4 and then 2 because 1 is way too dark for my liking. Good luck!

Just remember when you try and copy a celebrity's hair style it never looks like their hair ...actually half the time its not even thier real hair lol .....anyway the point is thier hair is professionally done everyday to look amazing what looks great on them may not on you which ever style you choose just make sure it fits your frame of face good luck!!

I think that they are all great pictures but the best thing is not to go in to a salon thinking that your hair will come out looking exactly like Hillary Duffs. If you do you will be disappointed. Go to a good salon with a stylist who has a sense of what looks good for your face. If they ask you too many times "like that?" they probably dont know what they are doing. --- sometimes just changing the color will do wonders also if you like the way it is.

i think the first was defo the nicest one. even the color was really pretty. bangs are a good idea because they're simple but can make your look change so much!!

I have tried so many things with my hair from the perms to the braids but they keep pulling my hair out. The main problem is that I am very tender headed and my hair is thick but it is not hard and I don't want to get my hair cut again'

Some of the answers I read are very igorant and not well thought of how could someone say that locks do not look right on women, they need to look around locks are beautiful and you shouldn't even care about asking others this question do what you feel is right and what's in your heart I wore locks for five years, and now I wear my hair natural meaning no perm I coil my hair, two strand twist set, there are lots of ways you can wear your hair without putting a perm in it. Go visit a salon that caters to natural hair I'm sure the staff can help you find a style that is right for you, and what ever you decide to do be happy at doing it, don't worry what others think!

Ive heard and seen, the braids and locks pull your hair out and make bald spots. Can you just cut your hair really short, then start over? do you need to have so much hair on your head? shorty, short hair is great on gals, looks sassy.

i have the same problem because mine is the same way you should get it twisted when it gets old you just get it re twisted with out taking it out cool right and dont put anymore perms in that does not help at all if you want it to be straightened get this thing called a vigaroll its a shampoo that straigtens your hair i use it cuz i used to get perms to THEY DONT HELP

dreads are not cute on girls!!!!!! if you are having problems with ya hair, then stop perming it. Perming will make things worst and later on you will have to cut your hair, what you should so is go to the shop and have them do your hair. or if you dont have the time or money, you can do it at home. All you have to use is a shampoo that will give your hair all the moisture that it lost and buy a deep conditioner that you would keep in your hair for 5-10 minutes and get your hair flat ironed into a cute style. all you gotta do this at least once a week and you will be coo!!!!

Getting my hair cut, can't decide how.?

I have a really round face, so I know I need something to add length. I also have long hair, about halfway down my back, and I would like to cut off about six inches of it. It is just too much to deal with. Any good websites/pictures/suggestions?
